“Spring” – a poem

Towards my love

At long last leaning

Thoughts again

Of long long evenings

My burner soon

Will be retiring

A warm spring sun

Is slowly climbing

Toward long awaited days

Relaxing into

Suns evenings rays

Another winters

Been muddled through

Twill soon disappear

Up burners flue..

  • a hardcore muppet-show-style drummer of outrageous talent
  • a gifted craftsman in many areas
  • an excellent british style butcher and meat processing bloke
  • and remarkably – as we are all discovering – a gifted writer too!
