It was wonderful to have Jane here for Christmas and just as wonderful to have her Dad (Ray) and our daughter Ashleigh and her husband Dave with us for Christmas – it really transformed the house into a home. Ash and Dave flew in for Christmas week from UK via Bucharest with Jane’s Dad.  He and Jane stayed here until the New Year.

We didn’t do much site seeing although we took them for a mooch around Svishtov – we just took the opportunity to be able to relax together around the house. I’m especially grateful to Dave for his hard work in clearing all the stubborn roots from the pig paddock- which saved a huge amount of work and will be even more appreciated when it comes to sowing seed in a few weeks (I hope).
